CHEESY LASAGNA with MEAT SAUCE
Ingredients:-
250 gm San Remo Instant Lasagna
4 tbsps oil
- 1 big onion, chopped
4 pips garlic, chopped
5 tbsps tomato paste
- 500 gm minced meat
- 1 pkt Spaghetti sauce mix with 1 ½ cups water
½ tsp gound black pepper
1 tsp paprika spanish
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
4 tbsps dry white wine
- 2 tbsps oil or butter
2 tbsps flour
500 ml milk
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
1 cube chicken stock
1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
Method:-
- Meat sauce : Heat oil, saute A till fragrant. Add minced meat
and stir well. Add B, mix well and bring to boil. Lower fire and leave
to simmer for 20 mins. Taste and dish up.
- Cheese Sauce : Heat oil, saute flour till fragrant. Slowly mix
in milk till smooth. Add C and stir well till cheese has melted. Taste
and dish up.
- To Assemble : Grease an ablong baking dish. Pour ½ cup
meat sauce into the base. Alternate layers of San Remo Lasagna, meat and
cheese sauces, ending with cheese sauce layer. Sprinkle grated parmesan
cheese if desired.
- Bake in pre-heated oven at 180°C for 40-45 mins till lasagna is
tender (test by pricking with fork) and top is golden brown.
- Remove, garnish with parsley and serve warm.
